A far5mer, 64, has been found unconscious with his head trapped in a grasscutter’s hole at Asempa Neye in the Juaboso District.
Agya Owusu, a cocoa farmer, had told his family that he was going to his farm to harvest his yields.
After farming, the victim decided to go in search of a grasscutter, according to Emmanuel on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm’s Nyankonton Mu Nsem.
He reported that the farmer was fortunate to discover a grasscutter trapped in a hole.
However, efforts to remove the animal were futile.
He is said to have attempted to remove the animal by inserting his head and hands into the hole.
He became trapped and reportedly remained in the hole until Monday when he was discovered by two women on their way to get firewood.
They later returned and requested assistance. The farmer was rescued and is currently being treated at the Asempa Neye Clinic.
