A man in his early twenties was washed away by heavy tidal waves while attending to nature’s call on the shores of Anomabo of Mfantseman in the Central Region.
The unidentified man had gone to the community to celebrate the Okyir Festival and had decided to answer nature’s call in the process.
He is said to have gone to the beach to attend to nature’s call despite being told to use a nearby bush.
While at the shore, a heavy tidal wave washed him away into the sea while he was defecating on a boulder.
He is said to have stated that when defecating into the sea, he always feels comfortable because of the cool breeze that circulates around him.
According to Nana Kwame Sankah, Chief Fisherman for the Anomabo, this isn’t the first time someone has been washed away by the sea in the area.
