Three Chinese nationals on trial with En Huang, also known as Aisha Huang, for illegal mining have been remanded into the National Investigation Bureau’s custody.
They were remanded in custody pending the outcome of their case.
The three are accused of illegal mining.
According to the facts of the case as read by Attorney General Godfred Dame, receipts for the purchase of mining concessions were found in their possession at the time of their arrest, and WhatsApp conversations between them are said to indicate their involvement in illegal mining activities.
They have since pleaded not guilty to the charges filed against them.
The state is expected to present eight witnesses to testify in the trial of the suspects.
