The Police have arrested two suspected armed robbers in the Ashanti region.
One other suspect was shot dead, a statement issued by the Police revealed.
The Police said the arrest was made following an intelligence operation.
The statement revealed further that the suspect who was shot dead has been identified as Issaka Muniru.
It said the suspect attempted to shoot at the Police.
The two arrested suspects have been also identified as Kwaku Boateng alias Form Noede, and Kojo Gyamfi.
The deceased Police added was involved in a series of robberies in the region together with a robbery syndicate.
He (deceased) was standing trial for a robbery and was granted bail but jumped the bail.
A bench warrant was issued for his arrest, the Police disclosed.
His other accomplices are still standing trial for their alleged offences, the statement said.
