A former deputy general secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho, has taken a swipe at General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, describing him as greedy, selfish and unfit to be elected as the party’s national chairman.
Mr. Anyidoho indicated in a series of tweets that it is only a selfish individual who would serve on the parliamentary service board as general secretary and run for the party’s national chairman again.
Mr. Nketiah’s desire to manipulate party delegates into electing him as national chairman will not work, according to him.
The tweets read If it is not excessive greed & megalomania, would Asiedu-Nketiah be shamelessly serving as GS of the opposition NDC & also be a Member of the Parliamentary Services Board? Now he wants to greedily become Chmn & still be on the PSB: Rawlings calls such people “Greedy Bastards”.
Asiedu-Nketiah thinks he has the capacity to manipulate NDC & Ghana huh? He is GS of the NDC & also earning his keep as a Member of the Parliamentary Services Board (PSB). He thinks NDC lacks men of substance, such that he wants to be Chmn & still be on the PSB? He is a joker!”
In another tweet, he suggested that Mr. Nketiah be expelled from the NDC after the party lost the 2016 general elections, as well as from the Tain constituency, from which he [Nketiah] is a member.
”Asiedu-Nketiah should have been SACKED from NDC at the end of the 2016 General Election, when, as GS & National Campaign Manager, he was viciously responsible for the disgraceful loss of his TAIN constituency – a very safe NDC Seat. His evil antics shall no longer be tolerated.”
