A section of the ongoing redevelopment project at the Koforidua Government Hospital has collapsed.
Two construction workers working on the redevelopment are currently on admission receiving treatment after the building collapsed on them.
The entire roof of the stand collapsed during a brief rainstorm accompanied by strong winds.
A year after it was awarded, the project that was supposed to be completed in 12 months is still unfinished.
Some witnesses to the incident blamed the New Juaben South Municipal Assembly for supervising subpar work.
