The newly appointed Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Dr. Eric Nkansah, has paid his first official courtesy call on the Honorable Minister for Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum.
He was accompanied by some Directors of GES.
Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum congratulated the Director General and charged his administration to create an enabling environment to improve the welfare of GES employees while working to enhance educational outcomes.
Later in the morning, he met with the Directors of the various Directorates and units under GES.
He continued with a familiarization visit to the offices of all staff.
Dr. Eric Nkansah pledged his willingness to work with all stakeholders to prioritize teacher welfare while implementing relevant pre-tertiary educational policies to ensure that all Ghanaian children have access to quality education.
