The Members of Parliament on the side of the Majority who called for the removal of the Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta have accepted an appeal from the President to wait for him (Ofori-Atta) to seal with the IMF before he is sacked or reassigned.
This was after they had met with the President at the Jubilee House.
A statement issued by Majority Leader Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu said the MPs agreed to stand down with their demand until the conclusion of the round of negotiations with the IMF for the presentation of the budget and appropriation bill.
The statement added that after these, the demand of the MPs would be acted upon.
