The Acting Director-General of Ghana Education Service, Dr. Eric Nkansah on Thursday, October 27, 2022, paid an unannounced visit to the Osu St. Thomas Presby primary/Kindergarten, Osu Presby Boys Primary and Osu Presby 2 Boys JHS.
Dr. Nkansah interacted with the children and encouraged them to believe in their aspirations.
He advised them to make the best out of the resources given them by their parents, teachers and Government.
Speaking to the teachers, the Director-General commended them for their hard work and assured them of his commitment to support and create an enabling environment to support them in the discharge of their duties.
To boost the teaching and learning of Science in the school, Dr. Nkansah pledged to work together with the school administration to resource the science laboratory in the school as soon as possible.
Mr. Joshua Nartey, headteacher of Osu Manhean Basic applauded Dr. Nkansah for the visit and assured him of their commitment and availability to work hand-in-hand with his administration to improve learning outcomes of the school.
Dr. Nkansah also inspected an ongoing library refurbishment project in the Osu Cluster of Schools funded and implemented by Deloitte and Spring-UP Global Network under the Deloitte ‘WorldClass Initiative’.
