The True Drivers Union has slammed President Akufo-Addo and his administration’s efforts to break the 8-year jinx.
The driver union argued that this inept government’s recklessness, economic hardship, and responsible governance are nothing to write home about.
Yaw Barimah, speaking on behalf of the Union, stated that despite promises to provide better leadership and economic stability to Ghanaians, the President and his appointees have done the opposite.
He bemoaned the reality on the ground, which he described as one of hardship, extreme poverty, pain, and anxiety.
”President Akufo-Addo and his incompetent appointees are mismanaging the country. They are worsening the plight of Ghanaians and creating extreme hardship. Ghanaians are lamenting, Ghanaians are suffering, and yet you want to break the 8.”
He also stated that the president is unconcerned because he will finish his eight-year term regardless of what happens.
