Former Progressive People’s Party (PPP) Youth Organizer Divine Nkrumah says nothing is more annoying than NPP members who support this inept government on social media but rely on friends when they are hungry.
He said several NPP members on social media are hungry and going through serious economic challenges, but because of partisan politics, they are defending the indefensible.
Appearing on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, Divine Nkrumah declared that the country is in a mess and the President is not interested in providing relief.
He lamented that the President has also not shown seriousness because he is still running an elephant size government with duplication of roles at all levels.
“You ask Ghanaians to tighten their belts, but you live in luxury.” Ghanaians are struggling, the economy is in shambles, and you are here to build a cathedral. “How can you claim the economy is in crisis and want to build a cathedral?”
He said despite all these things, some NPP persons who are hungry, jobless and struggling would defend them.
He said the dogs of these leaders even enjoy better than Ghanaians and have people defend their recklessness and incompetence.
Divine Nkrumah told host Kwabena Agyapong that the President is also dishonest and not truthful to the people and has failed to show leadership.
