Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has encouraged the staff of the Akrokeri College of Education to keep on nurturing students to be responsible leaders.
The second gentleman of the land commended the school for its contribution to nurturing students.
He described the school as a remarkable one saying the school has been at the forefront of learning opportunities for people.
He was speaking at the 60th Anniversary celebrations of Akrokeri College of Education at Akrokeri, in the Ashanti Region.
He said “Sixty years in the life of a training institution is a remarkable milestone, especially for Akrokerri College of Education, which has been at the forefront of learning opportunities for people from all walks of life.
While congratulating various stakeholders for their dedicated contributions to the success of the College, I also urged all current staff to continue nurturing the coming generations of students, so as to help them realise their real potential and become responsible members of their communities and the nation.”
