Former Youth Organizer of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Divine Nkrumah has extended well wishes to Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta as he celebrates his 63rd birthday.
Divine Nkrumah in a Facebook post asked God to keep the Finance Minister alive.
In a short message, the young politician said he prays that the Minister would not die like his late friend Eric Adonu who died after kidney failure and his inability to retrieve his investment to treat himself.
Divine Nkrumah recently revealed on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that his late friend had made several efforts to retrieve his investments after the financial sector clean-up but all the efforts failed.
He said the friend had made the effort to retrieve his funds to pay for his medical bills but he could not get his money and died in the process.
Divine Nkrumah in his short message prayed to God to keep the Minister alive so he would not suffer like Ghanaians who cannot make ends meet.
He wrote “Happy 63rd birthday, Hon. Ken Ofori-Atta,
We love and appreciate you wai..
May you never suffer in life like some of us; may you not struggle in life koraa like the way some of us struggle to make ends meet, because you are the best Finance Minister; may you not die like my friend Eric Adonu, who simply could not get his own hard earned money to undergo surgery because of the excellent work you did with financial sector clean-up exercise.
We love you, we really do. May you reign forever and ever. Forgetti obiaa.”
