A young woman in her twenties was discovered dead on the Mankessim-Baifikrom stretch of the Baifikrom-Dominase road in the Central Region.
Residents in Baifikrom-Samaria awoke this morning to find the lady motionless on the roadside near the Smart Ice Drinking Water depot.
According to Kwame Addex, who was reporting from the scene for Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, the incident has caused fear and panic in the area.
He stated that the area is currently gaining notoriety for criminal activity and that the police should intervene.
He stated that the residents have requested that the police increase patrols in the area.
He mentioned that there is a young man in the area who appears to be mentally unstable, but the residents are confused and fearful that he is engaging in ritual activities.
