Pressure group OccupyGhana has petitioned the Office of Special Prosecutor to investigate the allegations of a wealthy businessman who attempted to bribe the MPs who had called for the removal of Ken Ofori-Atta as Finance Minister.
The group in its petition said it followed the discussion and admission by Majority Leader Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu that a businessman had attempted to bribe the MPs.
OccupyGhana said they wish to draw the attention of the OSP to investigate the matter and establish if it was true.
It said if it is established that the allegations were true, the one involved must be prosecuted.
