The qualification or requirements for the Ghana School of Law will not be compromised, Supreme Court Justice Baffour Bonnie has declared.
According to the respected judge, those who wish to apply to the school and be called to the bar must meet certain requirements.
According to him, authorities or management would not budge on the requirements simply because a large number of people applied.
He was speaking at a dinner for people who had qualified for the bar and would be called in this weekend.
He emphasised the importance of maintaining high legal professional standards to ensure the delivery of justice in the country.
“This year, if they pass we will admit them, if they fail, they will not be admitted. We are not going to lower standards just to accommodate everybody who has applied. Law is the law and you must meet the requirements.”
