Man, 23, in critical condition after a friend allegedly shot him on a hunting expedition

November 10, 2022

A 23-year-old man, Emmanuel Amoah, is currently battling for his life at the St. Francis Xavier Hospital in Assin Fosu following a shooting incident at Assin Adiembra in the Assin South District of the Central.

Rainbow Radio’s Oheneba Ambrose learned that the suspect, identified only as K.B, asked the victim to accompany him on a hunting expedition.

When they arrived at the farm, the suspect led the victim into a dense forest and instructed him to wait for him at a specific location.

While waiting, the victim became dissatisfied with the situation and decided to flee to a plane sight.

The suspect allegedly pointed the gun at him and shot him in the back without provocation while moving.

The suspect is said to have used the gun barrel to feel the victim’s body while he was motionless to confirm he was dead.

Fearing that the suspect would shoot him again, the victim pretended to die before crawling on his knees to the roadside and yelling for help.
