A man in his 30s is currently in the grips of the Police after an attempted suicide failed.
The man reportedly climbed an MTN Mast at Kasoa CP in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central region.
According to sources, the suspect was spotted climbing the MTN tower and was advised by some locals, but he ignored their advice until some good Samaritans climbed the Mast and rescued him.
Last month, a man climbed ECG High tension with over 26,000 voltage and died instantly at Kasoa Galilea.
Section 57 of the criminal code stipulates that “whoever attempts to commit suicide shall be guilty of a misdemeanour.”
