Majority Leader Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu has taken Gabby Otchere Darko to the cleaners for accusing him falsely.
The lawmaker, who appeared furious, said the lawyer and member of the NPP had accused him of instigating the MPs who called for the dismissal of Finance Minister Ken Ofor-Atta.
The Suame MP said it was frivolous over the false claims and even added that he [Kyei Mensah] is interested in becoming the next Finance Minister.
The MP revealed that the comments by Gabby have infuriated the MPs and worsened the plight of the Minister.
”Who does he think he is? It is Akufo-Addo that I am serving. He, Gabby when we talk about the government, what is his locus? We are building, and he is scattering,” he said.
Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu stated that if he had not intervened, the situation would have escalated, causing a serious crisis for the government.
