Fourteen (14) suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of the Borae Ahenfie Chief, Nana Meebo, and two others in the Oti Region’s Krachi Nchumuru District.
A joint police-military team apprehended the suspects.
According to available information, the suspects are currently being held in police custody in Kete Krachi, the capital of the Krachi West Municipality.
The suspects allegedly ambushed and killed the chief and two others.
The chief is said to have had a disagreement with some community factions over a plot of land, which he won at the Krachi West District Court.
