End Hunger Africa, a non-existent company, has duped prospective job seekers.
The aforementioned institution advertised itself as a non-governmental organization with branches all over the world.
Today, November 23, 2022, the company invited prospective applicants to Stanbic Heights Accra for an interview.
The applicants were required to bring a police clearance certificate that they obtained from the Police National CID Headquarters.
They were also forced to pay between Ghc45 and Ghc50 as a processing fee for this website.
Some of the applicants who had travelled from Tamale, Takoradi, and other areas were left stranded.
One of the victims, who wishes to remain anonymous, stated that facility managers told them to leave because there was no company operating in the facility.
Some of them admitted to spending overGhc500 on the process in the hope of getting a job, but that it had failed.
Meanwhile, the operators’ various social media platforms and online pages have all been deleted.
Stanbic Heights Building Management has issued a disclaimer stating that there is no such company at the building.
It stated that the invitation is a scam and warned prospective job seekers to be cautious.
