The Black Stars will be difficult to beat – Bashiru Hayford

Black Stars of Ghana’s second group game at the Qatar 2022 World Cup against Asian counterpart South Korea ended in victory on Monday afternoon.

The game at the Education City Stadium ended 3-2. With that hunger and fighting spirit demonstrated on the pitch, Former Legon Cities and Asante Kotoko coach Bashiru Heyford believe that the Ghana team will be very difficult to beat if the current players play three to four matches together.

Speaking to Rainbow radio said, ‘Tactically they were very good on the field, infact they were committed. Their fighting spirit was very high, l have said it, and I’m repeating that it will be very difficult for any team to beat the Black Stars if this team play three to four matches together.”

Bashiru Hayford elaborating on his reasons, said, “lm saying all this because, the quality, the willingness to play and the aggression is good. So l believe that with this, the team will be difficult to beat.”

The Black Stars will now focus on getting a positive result against Uruguay on 2nd December to seal a qualification at the next stage of the competition.
