Alex Tenge, a young man, is accused of murdering his mother and grandfather in Okorase, Akuapem North Municipality, in the Eastern region.
The young man, a carpenter, allegedly beheaded and dismembered his grandfather, Tenge Sodzado, 90.
He is also said to have pursued and butchered the mother, Rita Agbabli Tenge, 40, in the house compound for raising an alarm.
The incident happened around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2022. The suspect is accused of committing the heinous crime after allegedly drinking Sobolo laced with wee.
