The Ghana Medical Association (GMA), has expressed outrage at the debt restructuring programme announced by Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta.
The GMA says the programme announced is unacceptable and will collapse their pension.
General Secretary of the Association, Dr. Titus Beyuo, said pensioners would go home with a meager amount because already, the real value of their income has been lost.
He said the HMA is engaging with its members on the way forward.
HGe said the news came to them as a shock, and all labour unions are engaging their members, and in the next few days, our full plan will be rolled out.
He stressed that the directive has serious implications for the members, and so what they direct us is what we are going to do.
