The Majority side in Parliament has staged a walkout after a heated debate in the Plenary on the motion of censure against Finwnce Minister Ken Ofori-Atta.
The side staged the walkout after leaders from both sides finished their submissions.
The Minority asked the Majority to support their motion.
However, the Majority described the motion as illegal hence they would not suport it.
Earlier, the embattled Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta rejected allegations of conflict of interest and gross mismanagement of the economy levelled against him by the Minority caucus in Parliament.
Mr. Ofori-Atta said he has done nothing wrong and described the allegations against him as politically motivated.
“If I say I am innocent they [the minority] won’t believe me and if I ask for the truth and proof, they won’t be able to provide it. I have committed no crime,” Mr Ofori-Atta insisted on Thursday.
