Incumbent National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Ofosu Ampofo says the Ghana economy is currently a catastrophe.
In his welcome address, the chairman who is seeking re-election stated that every Ghanaian including nurses, teachers, and others believes the performance of the NPP is catastrophic.
He said every labour union, economic experts, and rating agencies have all downgraded Ghana’s economy.
Ofosu Ampofo said the NDC remains the only hope to restore hope and maintain a stable economy.
“Civil society says catastrophe, okada riders say NPP is a catastrophe, galamseyers say catastrophe, our traditional leaders say catastrophe, university dons say catastrophe, the black stars say catastrophe, even the witches and villagers say catastrophe.”
