General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has noted that Ghana witnessed its bizarre election in our fourth republican history in 2020.
He said the NDC in 2020 faced a blatantly partisan and hostile Electoral Commission (EC).
He indicated that as if that was not enough, the judiciary threw common sense, fact and logic to the wind and consequently denied the people an opportunity to hold the EC chair accountable as the sole returning officer for the presidential election.
Asiedu Nketiah further stated that Ghana witnessed the most violent election in the country since several lives were lost with several others maimed.
He said that for the grace of God, the election would have led to a civil war in the country.
He stressed that the EC rigged the elections in connivance with the New Patriotic Party.
