The leadership of the True Drivers Union has joined the 10th National Delegates Congress of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Yaw Barimah, who represented the Union said political parties should not be the only ones interested in their executive elections.
He said unions and other groups must express interest in the election of political leaders since it will affect the governance of Ghana.
According to him, the union is behind Johnson Asiedu Nketiah and will want him elected as Chairperson of the NDC.
He asserted that Asiedu Nketiah is a man of principle and integrity and that is why they have supported him.
He went on to state that the union will support any leader who has the nation at heart and is prepared to serve.
