Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has defeated Mr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo to be elected as the Chairman-elect of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The 65-year-old politician polled 65.17% of the votes.
This is the outcome of the elections held at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, December 17, 2022.
Mr. Ofosu Ampofo got 33.81% of the votes.
Meanwhile, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey has also won the seat as the next general secretary of the NDC.
