Dr. Clement Apaak, Member of Parliament for Builsa South, has responded to former NDC deputy general secretary Koku Anyidoho’s tweet that he would not commit suicide as a result of Johnson Asiedu Nketiah’s election as national chairman.
Koku Anyidoho, in a tweet, wondered why he should commit suicide because Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, who he had wanted to lose in the chairmanship race, won.
Mr. Anyidoho, in his tweet, quizzed why some p[ersons asked him to keep quiet because Mr. Mketiah won the race after he had predicted defeat for him.
”I didn’t want Mosquito to win: he won & so I shd commit suicide? Ampofo didn’t want Mosquito to win; has he committed suicide? rubbish to say that I predicted a loss for Mosquito & he won so I shd keep quiet. How many of us have not predicted wins in our lives & lost?”
Reacting, Dr. Apaak asked him not to commit suicide.
He said Mr. Anyidoho would have to stay alive and witness the victory of former President John Dramani Mahama as president.
He said just as Mr. Nketiah won as chairman, Mr. Mahama would be elected as President, and. Mr. Anyidoho would stay alive to witness it.
”Certainly not, you can’t commit suicide because General Mosquito won. You don’t want JM to win, but like Chairman General Mosquito has won, JM will win
too, and become President, and you won’t commit suicide, don’t dare! Stay alive!”
