Member of Parliament for Builsa South Dr. Clement Apaak has said he is retaining himself from calling Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia comical.
Dr. Apaak’s reaction comes after Dr. Bawumia declared that the achievements of the NPP in the road sector, job creation, and education among others were the best in Ghana’s fourth republic.
In a series of tweets, Dr. Apaak wondered if Dr. Bawumia was referencing the Ghana we all know or another planet.
”Is my Simon Fraser University senior, Veep Bawumia, talking about another Ghana on another planet or he is hallucinating? I’m restraining myself not to call him comical.”
He further took a swipe at him on the declaration that the NPP has constructed more roads than any government.
He asked why the Vice President would count the filling of potholes of existing roads as road construction.
”Tell me an airport BUILTH by the NPP? You consider counting filled potholes/patching portions of existing roads as CONSTRUCTING roads. You take supporting existing private factories with funding to be ESTABLISHING factories? And what data did he present in that fallacious rant?”
Meanwhile, the MP has reiterated that Ghanaians have witnessed the worst economic crisis in Ghana’s history.
He outlined ten other things that represent the true record of the incompetent NPP.
Read the list below
The NPP record, if Bawumia is sincere should be:
1) Borrowed more than any govt since independence
2) Recorded the highest inflation since independence
3) Unleashed the most excruciating hardship since 1957
4) Supervised the most dissipation of public resources since independence
5) Recorded the most scandals in the history of Ghana
6) Suprinted over the worse destruction of our environment via galamsey ever
7) Highest cost of living in the history of Ghana
8) Highest cost of fuel since 1957
9) The government of family and friends ever in the history of Ghana
- Most lawless government since 1957
