The National Service Secretariat has suspended its Director of the Ashanti Region, Alex Opoku Mensah.
The embattled director was suspended for two months without pay for verbally abusing a nurse at the Manhyia Government Hospital.
Mr. Opoku Mensah was temporarily suspended after the incident to allow for investigations to be conducted.
The NSS, in its latest directive, said the director has been suspended for two months without remuneration.
The suspension takes immediate effect, the statement added.
