The Okada Riders Association of Ghana has commended the Inspector General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare, describing him as Ghana’s best IGP.
The Association believes he is not only efficient, and competent but committed to maintaining law and order in the country.
In dealing with them, the Association’s General Secretary, Majid Adamu, the IGP, demonstrated leadership, fairness, firmness, and professionalism.
He said “the new IGP we have in Ghana today is unrivalled. His level of participation is unprecedented. He is effective. We are working hard to reduce traffic accidents. We are collaborating with the police and other stakeholders to achieve these goals”.
He assured the public that the Association would continue to work closely with the Police to reduce road crashes involving Okada riders this year.
He added that the IGP has rolled out several initiatives aimed at reducing road accidents.
”We are grateful to the IGP. We have worked together to reduce road accidents, and from what we have witnessed, we can only commend him for his leadership,” he stressed.
