Prophet Nana Yaw Osei Tutu aka Prophet 99, General Overseer and Founder of Yehowa Beye Prayer Ministry, has called Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah’s prophecy of a possible coup in Ghana a hoax.
“There will be no coup in Ghana,” he stated emphatically. I am also God’s prophet, and I can confidently declare that there will be no coup in Ghana. He delivered a gake prophecy. It had no spiritual foundation”.
He called the prophecy reckless, irresponsible, and a violation of Ghanaian laws as well as a directive issued by the Ghana Police Service.
According to him, Prophet Bempah is not above the law and cannot break it and go unpunished.
Speaking to Kwabena Agyapong on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, he said “he must be invited by the Police to explain to them when the coup would occur. He should also be ordered to reveal the identity of those planning the coup. I prayed and asked God, and he did not respond.
There would be no coups from now until the 2024 general elections. People who discuss a coup are arrested and questioned. However, because he is Owusu Bempah, he has not been invited to respond to questions.”
A coup is not the best option, it destabilizes democracy, and deprives people expecially the poor opportunities. People could take advantage of this prophecy and act irresponsibly.
