Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Peace Watch Ghana Madam Nyonkopa Daniels, is livid over the video of a minor, Adobea, who hurled insults at Afia Schwaneggar.
It was disgusting, she said, for the minor’s parents to have allowed her to insult the controversial female comedian.
”As a parent, I think the child went overboard. Her comments were unpalatable, and I wondered why her parents allowed her to do that. A child should be allowed to engage in insults. That is not how you become popular.”
Madam Nyonkopa Daniels said although she does not accept the style of Afia and how she goes after people, the minor erred.
However, she has blamed the attitude of the minors on what some of these celebrities do on social media.
In her view, the minor and other children have learned from some of these so-called celebrities who insult our leaders and come at each other when they have differences.
“You should all bow your heads in shame. What germinated was the bad seed you planted. Afia insults people in front of the camera. An MP could also use social media to insult people. Tracy Boakye and others are examples of this. Adobea has learned this from them.”
”Some of these celebrities insult politicians, including the President. Some call him unprintable names, and that is what these children have copied from them.
Meanwhile, she asked Afia to use her creative talent to educate the children adding ”you see what Adobea is telling you now”.
