Fear has gripped residents of Assin Dominase in the Assin South District of the Central Region following the alleged murder of a 28-year-old man.
The deceased, identified as Kwaku Emmanuel, before his demise, worked with a renowned Cocoa marketing company in the Assin South District.
Details available to Rainbowradioonline.com indicated that Kwaku Emmanue left home around 10 pm on Monday 9th January 2023 for Assin Fosu after having taken his supper.
The next morning, residents discovered that the deceased had been brutally murdered and dumped on the outskirts of town, with bruises on his face and blood oozing from his nostrils.
A plier was also discovered near his body.
Although the cause of the tragic incident has not been revealed, it has elicited mixed reactions, with some suspecting it was a punishment for the deceased himself for an unspoken infraction, while others speculated it was a contract killing.
The mother of the deceased, who spoke to Rainbow Radio’s Oheneba Ambrose, said she wants the Police to probe the matter and bring the offenders to book.
