A thief is said to have been beaten to death at Ashaiman Katamansu Promise Land.
According to reports, the deceased went to steal with another person who is currently in critical condition.
According to a resident of the area who spoke on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, some of them saw the two lying in the area and when they approached, they saw cement blocks used to attack the two.
He said the one who survived kept screaming that he was dying and needed to be taken to the hospital.
Some of the items they allegedly stole were discovered with them, including electronic devices, beverages, provisions, and other items.
He claimed that the police were notified and arrived on the scene.
The deceased person’s body was taken to the mortuary, while the survivor was taken to the hospital.
When asked if the issue of armed robbery was rampant in the area, he answered in the affirmative saying, o a woman was recently shot and robbed, and that has forced the youth to form a vigilante group to deal with the suspected criminals.
