Fourteen students from Wa Secondary Technical High School have been hospitalised following two separate fires at the school.
Rainbowradioonline.com has learned that the students experienced varying degrees of trauma after the fire destroyed their dormitory.
Thirteen of the students are being treated at the Wa municipal hospital, while another is being treated at the Upper West region hospital.
According to Abdul-Razak Korah, the Upper West Regional Director of Education, the school has been temporarily closed due to the outbreak.
He explained that this is to allow for an investigation into the causes of the two fire outbreaks.
