A 16-year-old boy has been reunited with his family after going missing after leaving home.
The minor was discovered helpless in Djaman, near Weija in Accra.
According to the report, he had difficulty hearing and speaking.
Residents who saw him brought him to Hon Asantewa Asiedu, assembly member for Djama Electoral Area.
Following an epileptic episode, it was discovered that the boy was epileptic.
He was later taken to the hospital for treatment, according to Rainbow Radio’s Fiifi Ankomah.
The boy’s family has been reunited with him following the Nyankonton Mu Nsem at 7 a.m. on Rainbow Radio 87.54Fm.
According to the family, they heard the news on Rainbow Radio and decided to follow up.
The family also revealed that their child was not born with epilepsy but developed it when he was 14 to 15 years old.
According to discussions, the boy left home because he was mocked for having epilepsy by some locals.
The family thanked the assemblywoman for her kindness, as well as the residents who found him and brought him to the assemblywoman.
