Political analyst Owusu Ansah Williams has asked Haruna Iddrisu and Muntaka Mubarak to accept the change in leadership and move on.
According to him, leadership changed, and they were handed the baton to lead the Minority in Parliament, and in that same way, power has changed for them to be replaced.
He explained that the Minority must unite and accept the leadership change.
He stated that Muntaka has held the position for many years and that if he has been changed, he should accept it. I don’t understand why he’s upset if you’ve been asked to hand it over to someone else. It is unnecessary for his constituents to be throwing tantrums. Haruna Iddrisu has also contributed, and the party believes he should turn it over to Ato Forson. It is a party decision to have an economist lead the party in parliament in order to help them gain prominence. I have no reservations about that.
Someone will leave your position, and someone else will take over. They should accept it and move on.”
