30,000 passports ready but applicants have refused to come for them- Ministry

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed in a statement that 30,000 passports were ready but had not been collected.

The Ministry expressed concern because, despite being notified via text message that their passports were ready and had been sent to the various centres, the applicants did not come to pick them up.

The Ministry has therefore admonished applicants who are yet to collect their passports to do so as they would be required for future renewals.
