The Minister of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Ebenezer Kojo Kum has resigned.
The Minister who represents the constituents of Ahanta West as a Member of Parliament, submitted his letter of resignation to the President today, Friday, February 3, 2023.
The President has accepted his resignation and wished him well in his future endeavours.
He thanked him for his service to the government and the country.
A statement issued by the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin disclosed that President Akufo-Addo has asked the Minister for Decentralisation and Rural Development to act as caretaker for the Ministry until a substantive Minister is appointed.
