The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has appointed Chris Hughton as the new head coach of the Black Stars of Ghana
The GFA in a statement explained that the appointment of the 64-year-old is in line with the vision of the football governing body to “continue with the project of building a formidable squad that started with Otto Addo in the lead-up to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament”.
He would be assisted by Coaches George Boateng and Mas-Ud Didi Dramani.
The two maintained their positions as assistant coaches and previously worked with Otto Addo at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Meanwhile, the GFA says the details of the contract would be communicated later.
