The Ada Traditional Council has expressed its condolence to the family of the late Christian Atsu.
The Council President Jetse Abram Akuako III asked the residents in the area to remain strong in the face of the sorrow.
It announced that the council would collaborate with the family and the government to give the late footballer a befitting burial.
The statement said the council had taken comfort in the fact that the good works of the late footballer are speaking for him across the world.
