He mentioned that the president went around the country before taking office and appealed to voters to give him a chance because he was far superior to him [Mahama].

Mahama is the only one to make your aspirations come true – NDC MP says after touring registration centre

Mr. Mahama, on a tour of the Bono Region, told delegates in Kintampo North that he had delivered nothing but incompetence.

The aspirant seeking re-election as president of the republic stated that the country needs an experienced personality to manage the country.

He said we could no longer afford a try-and-error leadership but an experienced leader who has what it takes, the track record and competence.

Mr. Mahama told party delegates in the Bono East Region, “someone begged us to try him and see. We believed him and gave him a chance, but look where we are now. He has ruined the economy. Ghanaians are struggling, and the hardship we are facing is unprecedented. We have not seen anything like this in our political history since Kwame Nkrumah’s time.”

“Our situation is such that we are unable to pay our debt. This means Ghana is bankrupt. It’s a shame to be broke. That is where we are right now. We need someone with experience at this point. Ghaians are aware that the NDC can do better. That is why the NDC must work hard and unite in order to win in 2024.”
