The opposition National Democratic Congress’s ‘true state of the nation address’ has prompted the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to issue a statement in response.
The ruling NPP stated that it would not have responded to the address, but rather to the presentation made by the ND’s National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, which was riddled with falsehoods and unprovoked attacks on the president, his vice, and the entire government.
The NDC’s presentation was also called an “empty statement” by the party.
The NPP has decided to respond to the allegations and falsehoods made by the NDC chairman with “incontrovertible facts and data in order to assist discerning Ghanaians in making informed decisions,” according to the statement.
