Asante Kotoko has confirmed the departure of Seydou Zerbo, a day after the club was knocked out of the top four by Medeama in Kumasi.
The decision was confirmed by the club on Monday morning via its official Twitter handle.
The notice read ”Management of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club and Coach Seydou Zerbo have this morning mutually agreed to part ways.
Coach Abdul Gazale has been tasked to take charge as Acting Head Coach.”
The Burkinabe coach was hired to succeed Prosper Narteh Ogum, who left the club at the end of last season after leading them to their first league title in eight years.
