Former President John Dramani Mahama has chosen the first slot on the ballot for the National Democratic Congress’s upcoming presidential primaries.
Kojo Bonsu, a former Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, is running second.
Dr. Kwabena Duffuor, former Finance Minister, chose the third number.
Ernest Kobeah, a businessman, has withdrawn from the race.
In an interview with the media, Edward Doe Adjaho, Chairman of the NDC Vetting Committee, stated that the balloting took place following the successful vetting of the three candidates.
The Presidential and Parliamentary primaries for the NDC are scheduled for May 13, 2023.
