A presidential aspirant hopeful in the upcoming New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential election Hon Kennedy Agyapong has asked party delegates to vote massively for him.
The aspiring presidential candidate said he was the only one who had what it takes to defeat former president John Dramani Mahama in the 2024 general elections.
He made this statement when he met NPP delegates in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam constituency as part of his tour in the Central Region.
According to the lawmaker, he is like David in the Bible who was underrated but he was able to kill a giant like Goliath stronger men were running away.
“Some have said I have no glory, but I am like Lazarus, whom people thought was nobody but would be the one to save the NPP and Ghana.” This is the moment to consider me. People typically undercut me. I am the David of the NPP. If you vote for me today, I will easily defeat Mahama hands down. I’m here to ask for your votes. I’d like you to cast your vote for me. If you vote for me, I’ll easily defeat Mahama.”
He went on to remark that some were thinking he wasn’t presidential material because he was too talkative.
People keep suggesting Kennedy Agyapong is unfit for the presidency. People think Kennedy Agyapong is a talker who can’t keep secrets. But I also question you, “Would you rather vote for someone who says it to your face and still gives you a job than someone who pretends and has nothing to offer or tell you good to see you?”
He has also committed to generating more jobs, particularly for graduates in Ghana, to assist reduce the country’s unemployment rate.
