Delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Kumawu constituency have elected Ernest Yaw Anim in the party’s primary ahead of the by-election scheduled for May 23, 2023.
The candidate garnered 195 votes to beat his closest contender, Ama Serwaa, and three others.
Speaking after he was declared winner, the candidate assured the party he would unite their front and ensure the NPP retains the seat which was occupied by the late Philip Basoah.
